Overview
Smokinya Beach is located south of Sozopol and is one of the most popular beaches for camping and free-spirited holidays along the Southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It lies in a beautiful natural area between Kavatsite and Gradina, surrounded by sand dunes and pine forests that create a classic seaside atmosphere with a sense of calm and openness. The beach features a long stretch of fine golden sand, with some areas remaining more natural and less developed. The sea is clean and suitable for swimming, while the region is well known for its camping zones and relaxed vibe that attracts both young travelers and families. Smokinya combines a slightly livelier summer atmosphere with a strong sense of nature and spaciousness.
